As an alternative to you riding independently, Motorcycles New Zealand would be delighted to arrange one of our guided motorcycle tours of the South Island of New Zealand.

Want to get out of Christchurch for a day? Feel the need to get some fresh air into your lungs?

Our experienced guides are available for a single day's ride or for a longer duration. Motorcycles New Zealand's local guides are available for NZ$300 a day and will take you on routes that you would never have discovered on your own. This is highly recommended for riders that are new to riding in New Zealand.

We do not have a range of "preset" commercial guided motorcycle tours leaving on set dates and covering the well-trodden routes, rather we prefer to tailor our motorcycle tours to suit each customer’s interests. We aim to highlight the attractions that are of interest to each rider as they travel through New Zealand on their own timetable.

For example you may have a liking for off-road routes, lots of twists & turns and sticking to the old pioneering trails, which crisscross the South Island. Kiwis commonly refer to this as "getting amongst it". Alternatively you may prefer one of our five star motorcycle tours on popular routes with luxury accommodation, yet branching out on trails as and when the whim takes you. Whatever your ideal New Zealand motorcycle adventure, we will be very happy to accommodate you.
