Motorcycles New Zealand offers a selection of the best motorcycles for touring in New Zealand's South Island. All our motorcycles are fully serviced and maintained. We arrange for all our fleet of motorcycles to be invididually and independently inspected by the Automobile Association every 6 months to give you 100% confidence in booking with us.

Our motorbike hire features seven bike models suitable for New Zealand conditions. Each motorbike we hire, whether a BMW or Suzuki is the pick of the bunch for excellent touring in the South Island of New Zealand. Each features great luggage space, is easy to handle and well designed to cope with the unique South Island roads. Our bikes are great for all conditions from the main highways to the gravelled lesser-known routes you will need to travel to 'see the real country'. We have no motorways in the South Island and only supply the type of motorbike for hire that suits New Zealand terrain!

If you're unsure of which motorbike to hire, just tell us what type of touring you wish to do and a little bit about yourself (riding skill, stature, etc) and we'll recommend the most appropriate motorcycle for the ultimate New Zealand biking experience.

Pillion Passengers
You and your partner are welcome to ride together as rider and pillion passenger. We do not charge extra but we do need to ensure that the bike we provide is suitable for a pillion passenger.
